Philosophy.

My philosophy is simple: we are all unique individuals who deserve connection and support. I also believe that everyone has the capacity for self-healing. Each one of us has a story, and our reaction to life stressors are often a delicate blend of biological, psychological and social factors.

My approach to mental health is holistic and evidence-based—integrating both the science and art of therapy. I do not take a “one size fits all” approach to therapeutic work. Within this framework, I utilize evidence-based techniques, including but not limited to: cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, interpersonal therapy, and motivational interviewing.

“People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at a sunset, I don't find myself saying, "Soften the orange a bit on the right hand corner." I don't try to control a sunset. I watch with awe as it unfolds.”
